And then, I turned around to see this. I will guess that this was all planted rather than just nature doing its thing.

So I crossed the road and took a few steps farther down the road and this picture was taken.

Time to return to the ship. This is a convenience store about 100 yards from the small pier. I went inside to see what they had. Pretty much what one would expect of a convenience store on the island of Moorea.

Standing on the pier, looking one way, I had this view of the homes of some locals and farther away more of those over-the-water-huts that rent for too much money.

And then I turned around to take this picture of one of the tenders underway.

I am back on the ship and noticed a road. It doesn't show very well in this photo unless you look for it. There is that one white road that goes straight up the hill to someone's home. Fortunately they don't have to shovel snow there. Still, that seems darned steep.
