360 yo tree.

Squaw Lakes in the Appelgate

DS went on another hike in the OR forest and he came across this old tree. Between the little tree that I posted before and this old tree, there must be a lot of history in between.

That was my thought also, if trees could talk.
I love old trees, but they are few and far between here in silicon valley, so I enjoy the DS hiking photos.

That is one amazing tree, especially its shape. Trees around here do not get anywhere near that height due to our low amount of annual moisture.
