| OK gb - I'm stumped :-) That's undoubtedly something I should recognize but am not in that close-up view.... This clematis at the end of the garage is looking great today. It's growing on that copper and wooden tripod I made spring 2010. The clematis is not all the way to the top yet but I think the top is too shaded under the roof overhang for it to want to grow there. I think the clematis is Nike but I wouldn't swear to it :-) I just trimmed it up a bit this spring, not hard pruned it, but it seems very happy. |

| Could well be Warszawska Nike! I always have trouble photographing that one and getting the right colour. Looking good! The above photo is of Phlomis russeliana, also known as Jerusalem sage. There's a pink variety as well. |
