The rearview mirror as I back out of the garage. That's the barn garden.
Our laneway. Alfalfa on the far left, grain on the right.
Neighbour Fern sells flowers on the honour system at the intersection.
Our eye doctor lives at the corner too and this is her horse.
So here's the road to town. The bridge is one lane only.
Here we arrive at the curling rink next to the Community Centre.
Here's what's happening at the Centre this week!
Here's a shoe shop window.
And this is where our piano tuner lives.
Across the way is a gate to a very old secret mansion.
Flowers decorate an open area where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream...
And then on to the town of Fergus (where I go to Curves). Some building details-
A backyard playhouse!
The old pool is for sale. Period building!
Fudge is a specialty here...and I didn't buy any either!
So time to head home...
I took the scenic route this time.

| What a blast, 'bug, just what I needed, a virtual road trip...was Phoebe riding shotgun? |
|
| I would have bought the fudge! |

| Great drive, thanks for taking us along! Love that gate in in the wall. Wish I had that here. Deanne |

| I love these. I'm so jealous you live in such a beautiful area! LOL Jerri |

| Your neck of the woods is absolutely idyllic :) Thank you for sharing. We all want to know if Pheobe went, though :) Saucy |

| What fun! That is my kind of scenery. I love it! Very lucky to have that to look at every time you go to town. pm2 |

| Phoebe did not go. She could not bear the wait while I'm at exercise class...Besides, it is too warm out for her to be in the car. But she did play croquet with us last night and stole DH's ball on several occasions...I won!!! |
|
| Pheobe is such a good dog to help mommie win crochet :) I hope she got extra treats for that one ;) Saucy |

| 'bug -- Trying to figure out what the difference is between the "to" route and "from" scenic route. It all looks pretty lovely to me! Curling!! Do you and DH do it, 'bug? My aunt and uncle were champs at one point and it's just a huge sport in certain spots, yes? Martie |
|
| Yes, I've only seen curling on the Olympics. How interesting. Can you curl fudge? LOL Jerri |
|
| No, we don't curl. Actually Lacrosse is the big game in our town..apart from Hockey and Ringette. The "to" route goes directly to Elora. The 'from" route starts at the Fergus grocery store and avoids downtown Elora and has less traffic, more cows. LOL! There isn't a day without treats Saucy... |
