| Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but perhaps someone can help me... :)
Well, it looks like my back ordered Bleeding Hearts collection, both the white and the pink, aren't going to make it here as bareroots in time for me to plant out before first freeze. So, my question is, can I plant them into pots and grow them inside until Spring, then plant them out to my bed? I've read in some places that this is fine, but other sites say they don't like being moved. Any advice is appreciated. Oh, and the same question goes for my Fern Leaf Bleeding hearts, which are in the same situation. Thanks!

| I bet they do arrive in time. But you could prepare the areas where you intend to plant them in advance by digging the holes and then having soil and mulch(kept indoors) waiting for their arrival and planting time. I'm really reluctant to try overwintering indoors! |
