| After taking our walk through the Flume Gorge we drove north toward Franconia Notch and stopped at a spot call The Basin. We had a lovely picnic next to the Pemigewasset River. After the picnic we walked the lovely trail down to The Basin, a large pool carved out of granite. The trail winds down beside the river with many waterfalls and rock formations.

| I love what you do to water through your camera! This is a beautiful place....must see, must see, must see.... Saucy |

| I like looking at pictures of moving water like that and noticing all the colors in it. It's the effect of taking a few art classes a few years ago - I look at things like that and think of what colors I'd use to try and paint it... |

| A wonderful time of year for this Deanne! I remember a spot where DD took us years ago. She joked with her Dad, Princess Bride style:"You kill my father, prepare to die!"

| Such beautiful clear water ! Wonder what it would taste like with a shot of Canadian Club ? Really do need to get to NE in the fall someday-if I hand with the locals I won't be such a tourist.. Wonderful pics Deanne ! Kathy in Napa |

| Thanks so much everyone! So glad you enjoyed the photos. Kathy, you do know that you are invited to come and visit any time. I love having company during fall foliage season. It gives me an excuse to get out of here and go for a foliage drive, something I don't do often enough. |
