I just HAD to copy Michelle and get outside to find the beauty of November in Ontario. It does lift the spirit to find beauty in the muted colors and the details.

A jolt of reality. This is a cotinus caged for winter. There are many caged shrubs about here.

A four season garden there for sure! You need a rabbit hunting companion for Phoebe:-) Get a Lhasa Apso if Misty's instincts are anything to go by! I need to go check my hellebores - I've seen several people comment on them blooming this fall...

Marie, the farm is beautiful in every season. I enjoyed touring it in autumn. Lots still going on there. Thanks for sharing it.

Bug, nice tour of your late fall garden. Both you and Michelle inspired me to go on a little tour of my own garden to see who is still producing. I have some primroses blooming, and my grasses are making interesting sounds when the winds blow. The other thing I noticed was that I can see the birds flying around a lot better after the leaves are pretty much gone. Thanks!!

So beautiful Marie..I love the photos of the grasses; a particular favorite is the one featuring the house in the background. And your Sedum ! What will happen when winter arrives ?

Lots of beauty at your farm, Marie. I toured our yard recently, but did not find much. I didn't go out into the woods. This has to be the hardest year on my yard plants....Hopefully next year will be better.

Kathy, the sedum do just fine through the winter winds and snows. They are made of sturdier stuff than I am!

Still lots going on at your place too. Funny how several of the pictures you took look like they came from my own garden. I noticed the red and green of my Ivory Prince hellebores, the parsely, the spireas, Limelight, aquilegia seedlings,the sedums and the cages too. Its interesting how even the weeds can take on a pretty color at this time of year. Thanks for sharing.
