Love the bleeding heart. What type of sun requirements does it take?

It likes shade Cflower. Note: It starts to go dorment around the end of July(leaves start to yellow, etc) I usually just cut them down when that starts and they spring right back the following Spring. (no pun intended) There is another non stop flowering type with smaller leaves. Around here, it starts flowering in April and keeps on going all the way till frost. A great little work horse. It too likes light shade. If you get it in white, it really brightens up a shady spot.

I love bleeding hearts. Mine thrive in part to full shade in richly organic acidic soil. With moderate but not too much moisture or they will rot. :)
