| You know what, I took a second look and not sure it is a scaveola. San Jose may have different perennials then we do here on the East Coast. There doesn't seem to be much traffic on the gallery. I would try posting it to the Discussions part of the forum for more input. |

| No, you were right, it is scaevola. I looked up pics of the flower after you ID'd it, and it is an exact match. This site : http://www.backyardgardener.com/plantname/pda_127e.html identifies it as a perennial in zones 10-11. |
