I realized yesterday that my 'Fan Burgandy' was fasciated. Has anyone seen a lobelia do this?

Is it fan-shaped and flattened, or just branched? It's a little hard to tell from the picture for some reason... I've had branched ones before (sometimes even before cutting off the flowering branches) but haven't ever had one actually fasciated.

Looks fasciated to me. Need not be fan-shaped to qualify. Numerous plants, both woody and herbaceous, can be similarly affected.
