Meadow Sage: Why is it dying?

I just planted this last week. It looked fine when I bought it. Today I noticed that the flowers were dying already as well as some of the foliage it's coming out of. You can see it on the right side of the image.

I gave it some miracle grow all purpose fertilizer after i planted it and have been watering every other day. Plus a couple days of rain.

Any ideas?
