Not totally sure but it looks just like the foliage coming up where I had purple cone flower last year.

It is an Echincea!!! Thank you so much. Are you having alot of Spring rains in your areas too? We have had flood here in Gothenburg, NE. So ready for some heat and sunshine so my plants can grow and flourish.

Rain...I wish. We haven't had a drop here in two weeks and 90 F temps to boot-not at all normal weather for early June. Needless to say, I've had to suspend all moving and dividing of plants and devote lots of time to watering. In a week it will probably be cold again...lol.

It's hard to tell because the pic is far away but it looks like something I've seen.... maybe echinacea? It's not cornflower. That's annual and it has thin silvery foliage. :)
