| In answer to a question about the suitability of lupines in zone 5 or 6, a picture of the lupines near our pond. They have done so well, they self sow replenishing themselves. The key to establishing a good bed of them is to sow in situ. |

| Are lupines particular where they are planted? You mentioned near your pond so evidently it is somewhat moist there? I'm Wintersowing some of the Russell and blue lupines so I hope they germinate and do well. |
