Hi folks -

I am new to Gardenweb and looking forward to learning from all of you who have many more years of experience in this wonderful world of gardening.

For starters I was hoping that someone could help indentify this plant that I have inherited as part of the garden in a new home.

Thanks in advance

Could you blow up the image? :)

Hi Dew, The photo really is too small to id by, but based on the color and form, I'd suggest searching on Liatris and Epilobium and see if you can match it up.

RE: Mystery Plant

Thanks folks. You're right, the picture is a little small to do much detective work with. I'll get the hang of this image uploading soon. The trick is to get a good size picture with the 61K limit permitted by Garden web. (I have one other mystery plant in the garden so I will try it with that one)

That said, based on my web search, I think that Cynthia hit the nail on the head with Epilobium Angustifolium.

Thanks again to both of you
