| I've enjoyed this. Thought I would share. There are about 50 fruit on this plant, though "fruit" obviously isn't the word since the thing is blooming. |

| VERY nice. Beautiful purple. I heard the flowers are huge. Thistles are always pretty to me and I am part Scottis! (mind you of course this is an Italian thistle!) I'm growing cardoon this first year (for eating/decorative) and so far the seedlings are so silvery. But I hear the foliage is lovely. Could you post a pic of it? :) |

| How old is your cardoon? I grew it once before and it didn't overwinter. Very pretty. |
