| Yes indeed, Caryopteris it is. I just love it and wish I lived in zone 6 to ensure its survival each year. Mine is about to bloom in one area now. I'm in zone 4/5. |

| Thanks for responding, I have been wondering for many months now and finally it is flowering and I am pleased with the color and form .. I have to move this plant and I do hope it will be ok but I will wait for spring. |

| It most certainly is a Caryopteris and it was a wonderful surprise . I believe this is a Dark Knight . I was given 3 plugs of first choice last month as well . Gorgeous plant. Glad to have them. Thanks everyone for the ID |
