| You did that without a tripod???? Very nice! |
|
| Thanks, the old Nikon 5700 still works pretty well. :) John |

| These first 3 pics are the first bloom of a double blue that didn't fully develop in the inner layer of blooms but is interesting none the less :)
These next three are of a complete double that is still opening but I couldn't wait :)
Hope you enjoy them :) Marry Christmas! John |

| I'm getting some interesting variety in my seedlings under lights plus some awesome bud counts. First a white that looks yellow w/o flash:
and even with flash looks cream:
Here is a 7 inch high 3 month seedling with 12 buds on it:
And this is examples of the numerous buds I have at 3 months. Notice the blooms in this one, have had 6 open so far:
rc=http://www.pbase.com/image/54605036.jpg> All the above are being grow in an 18 inch window box pot under lights. The following is one of my 6 inch pots at a little over 3 months. Notice it has buds but also some browning along some of the leaf edges due to the extreme plant crowding in the 6 inch pots. The plant is spread over and 16x18 inch space now.
I'm still having fun :) JohnVa |

| My yellow tipped purple balloon flower :) This one seemed to be having problems opening so I took an exacto blade and operated on it :) The following are before and after pics:

| These are only three month old seedlings? |
|
| Yes Loretta, 3 months old under lights with wick watering and still going strong. I seem to have a dozen or more open every day now, I've been hybridizing like crazy :) Kinda blows the 2 year old and 10 week under 40 degrees to bloom out of the water huh? :) John |
