Pink Queen Anne's Lace

This is a pic I took at the Well Sweep Herb Farm. They have been selecting seed for this plant over the years. They were out the day I went.

That's interesting. Is the flower in an arrangement? The foliage shown isn't Queen Anne's Lace.
I like the look of a pink umbellifer. Pimpinella major 'Rosea' seems to fit the bill.

Another alternative is Chaerophyllum hirsutum 'Roseum'

No, it is planted outside among a casual wildflower patch of poppies, zinnias, nicotiana, verbascum and others. I am pretty sure it is offered in their catalog but I can't find my copy at the moment. They even checked to see if they had any seed left but didn't.

Like I said, they have been selecting seed for this over the years. I don't remember if they told me where the original plant came from.

Here is another shot where you can see a little more. I also wanted a shot of that bug on it. I had something similar in my yard with stripes pollinating my hydrangea and I was wondering what it was.

Click on the pics for larger views.

Thanks for the references BTW. I am going to look those up.
