Does anyone grow podophyllum hexandrum in zone 5?

gee, mad, i'm sorry to be one of those people that does not answer yes to a question. i grow the native podophyllum. i think you are a researcher, yes?, so you would have found the wikipedia and DG entries; the latter of which has someone growg it successfully in newfoundland, z5A. cool ppl blotched leaf variegation, YUMM! reminds me a bit of allegheny pachysandra coloring in early spring, before it goes rather unvariegated looking in summer. The native podophy. also has a spring variegation that is less noticeable (than the hexandrum).
one of my fav plants; just LOVE to see the wound up parasols become umbrellas!

I have been growing podophyllum hexandrum in zone 5 for a few years. Every year I think it is gone, but shows up eventually, well after my trillium and Jacks. I have been growing them in pots due to a vole problem. Not sure if they would bother the mayapples, but I've been wrong before.
