because I haven't trimmed it for a while. I've never had any problem with cutting it off at any time of the year. As soon as we have thaw I plan to cut down, divide and start a new edging and patch a couple places in a different bed where there are holes in the border. Chris

Lol thx ken. I was just trying to do my own "experiment" with dividing I heard liriope was very tough so it wouldn't really affect its growth. And I have to laugh at the fact that your still in the deep freeze . We've got mid- 50s and low 60s infact today I saw some bud break on my dogwood, home run roses, and boxwoods and some on the azaleas. I'm so stoked but it seems winter has ended a bit earlier than last year
