After doing more image searching, I can see where you're coming from. LL seems to be more 'floriferous' than LN. I was wondering because more than ten years ago I sent for LL seeds and grew some. I don't recall the company's name, but the seeds came in little gold foil packs. Anyway, the plants had the wider leaves like the LN, although they were labeled LL. I only grew them that one season for the large seed pods(cool, but painful). I also noticed while searching that different vendors are using the wrong photo and/or description for both. There seems to be much confusion so it's not surprising that you got the wrong seed.

where did you buy the seeds? email the seller (retailer) and nicely explain that the seeds you received were a different variety than what you ordered. I have looked at dozens of pictures of the two varieties and your description of "catnip like" doesn't sound like L Leonurus.

has your plant bloomed? What do the leaves up by the blooms look like? All the pictures of LL I've seen with the lance-like leaves show those leaves up by the blooms.
