Just venting. I always look forward to bringing home flowers after Easter service. I will have to pick up a few pots elsewhere this year.

I love to get a pot or 2 of blooming hyacinths around Easter. This is a month or 2 before they will bloom outside and it's so nice to have the fragrance wafting through the kitchen. LOVE the fragrance of Hyacinthus orientalis! It is awesome. Right about now I am starting to crave some flowers!

I agree with Ken. Stay until most everyone else leaves and take home any that aren't set aside for someone to pick up in a day or two. I often brought home several pots of bulbs that I would put in garden beds after the flowers had faded. Some were already done blooming before I brought them home. In our church if they weren't claimed they were thrown in the trash.

There is always next year for Easter flowers. Or perhaps in September for Mother Mary's birthday.
