Please come out and join us this Sunday, April7!

LILY SOCIETY AT OAK PARK CONSERVATORY ON SUNDAY, APRIL 7, 2013

The Wisconsin Illinois Lily Society will sponsor a free public slide show/lecture, "Highlight Your Garden With Lilies," at 2.00 PM on Sunday, April 7 at .the Oak Park Conservatory, 615 Garfield Street.

Lily Society president Woodruff Imberman will make the presentation. He lectures widely on lilies at garden clubs throughout the Midwest. Imberman is the author of numerous articles in regional and national horticultural magazines on lilies, is an amateur lily hybridizer, an accredited international lily judge, and has won many awards for his lilies.

Those attending will be taught simple propagation techniques for growing lilies, learn about the wide variety of lilies that flourish in our area, and how to design a garden with lilies so some are blooming all Summer long.
His talk is part of the Wisconsin Illinois Lily Society's 15th annual Spring outreach/education efforts for experienced Chicagoland gardeners as well as wannabe gardeners. The Society's mission is to further the knowledge and propagation of true lilies.
