"Easy Does It" Rose! Please suggest other plants that look good with Nepeta "Walker's Low." I think it would look good with yellow roses too. The Russian Sage looks good too, but it's not blooming yet and is on the other side.
This rose is so amazing. I have people stopping and asking me where I got it. It never has black spot. It's always blooming. The Nepeta "Walker's Low" always seems to be blooming too. I have never had two plants together that constantly look so good. |

| Beautiful!! Just a little FYI - have you had it there long? I've got a post a little ways down (titled wrong - as Low Walker's instead of Walker' Low) about pruning. Take a look at pic & you'll see how gigantic it got. It's only 1 yr old, too !! |

| OOPS! You've already read my post, so you already know about this plant...sorry :) |

| This is the second year for both. The Russian Sage will be blooming soon too. I just found some Russian Sage seedlings underneath the rose. I'll be moving them all over the place. I think Russian Sage is good because it blooms after the first Nepeta bloom cycle. This combination blooms all the way to frost. |

| That's funny !! I also have Russian Sage. Bought both these plants at the same time and both are in the same raised bed. I'm looking forward to seeing my sage this year. It's nowhere near ready to bloom but does look much fuller than last. It also really leaned to reach the sun last year so I struggled with trying to feed it up thru an upside down tomato cage that I'd cut down in size. So this year, I remembered and already have it around it. They ARE both great plants for lasting until frost. |

| That's a beautiful combination echman. I've got Russian sage growing with gaura lindheimeri/wand flower and think the combo is spectacular because they basically bloom non-stop once they start and are unfazed by the weather.

| That's very pretty! I remember that rose from last year when you posted it, and I still want one. |

Nice combination, ech-maniac! 'Walker's Low' gets 30"x36" after a few years. I plant dahlias called 'The Bishop'(started in pots in March:) This dahlia is a nice red with dark foliage and I thought it looked grand with the nepetas. I'm looking forward to a newly planted border of these nepetas in front of Lonicera Sempervirens' Alabama Crimson'. My original 'WL' nepetas are along my driveway and bloom with 'Happy Returns' daylily, Salvia'Maynight',Scabiosa'butterfly blue'and feverfew. |

| Beautiful pictures! I am going to root more Walker's Low cuttings. Nothing blooms as long here! |
