| Hi -- does anyone know where I could find (mail order)Penstemon pinifolius "Mersea Yellow" seeds? I live in Canada, near Vancouver, but used to live in New Mexico, and grow many SW plants in my garden. I can't easily import plants, but I do grow a lot from seed. But I can't seem to find these seeds anywhere!
Many thanks! Sharlene |

| I was under the impression that it was a random sport and won't come true to seed. Seedlings would probably be red. I could be wrong though. I just mail ordered a plant of this myself. I'm growing it on in a gallon waiting to plant it out. |

| It looks very similar to my Penstemon pinifolius 'Magdalena Sunshine'. According to High Country gardens Penstemon pinifolius 'Magdalena Sunshine' is 'slightly more compact than 'Mersae Yellow' and is a bit more floriferous'. You may be able to find 'Magdalena Sunshine' locally. |

| By Googling I found a couple of seed catalogs that listed it but neither have a current supply, so I think it must come true from seed. Neither company was one I had any experience with. |
