Moving delphinium early

Hi everybody! At the end of the season last year, i got a bunch of beautiful perennials dirt cheap,(delphinium, hydrangea, phlox, butterfly bush), i put them in the back garden for protection over the winter( empty spot usually used for veggies located between two garages. I live in the city) so a lot of things have started popping up(so excited!!) but I'm worried about the delphinium, i accidentally put it in a spot that i hadn't realized is VERY wet. Actual pools of water, we have had a long and very cold winter, the snow has only just totally melted, so i don't want to move it, but i think i should be more worried about the water?? What do you think??! Ill add that there is a pretty empty garden in the front but my father(who's house i live in) never tilled it and we have mostly clay here, I'm thinking about just a higher spot in back... Thank you for your time/help i am so appreciative!!
