More Corn Gluten

I'm thinking that rotating applications of grass seed and corn gluten might work to give the grass seed a head start, and retard the growth of weeds. But I need to know how long corn gluten's effects last. Anyone have any idea at all?

I used to hate it when people did this to me (redirected me) cuz I'd think I'd done something 'wrong' and I was being scolded....LOL

But you're probably better off posting this in the lawn care forum (or whatever other forum there may be). :-)

RE: More Corn Gluten

you clear the area.. in spring.. and plant the grass.. and let it do its thing all summer ....

and then ... you start thinking about weeds... in fall ... once the grass is firmly established ...

you do not plant grass seed all summer long .. so your theory of 'rotating applications' seems wrong to me ...

that said.. someone has to be the pioneer .. good luck with all that ..

i agree you might find peeps in the lawn forum who have actually tried ... for me.. its not about where you post.. its about where you will find the peeps with more specific experience ...
