I would like to put more of them around our landscaping for next Spring. The previous homeowner planted them in. They come out and stay out for about 2-3 weeks. |

| It is really hard to id a plant from a single flower with no indication of scale, leaves or plant habit. That could be a wide open tulip flower but I could be way off. If no one can id it here I suggest you take a close up of the whole plant and give an indication of size. Then post ot on the Name that Palnt Forum here on garden web. |

| Yeah, sorry, but the picture is pretty bad for ID purposes. Next time, try to take a photo of the plant, getting the flower, stems, and foliage in the shot. This helps to give an idea of size, situation, etc. Anyway, it appears to be the wide-open flower of one of the botanic type tulips, probably something along the lines of a greigii or perhaps even a Red Emporer type tulip. |
