| For those who are fans of Bluestone Perennials, the annual 50% off sale has started. I don't post here often but wanted to alert those who are interested. The plants are small and need some babying the first year but the effort is worth it for the prices during this sale. I have been pleased through the years with the results. Try some of their shrubs in pots for the first year and then plant in the fall. |

I learned a long time ago to keep my wishlist up to date and ready, lol. These sales sell out fast and you need to be on the ball- I had my order placed within an hour of receiving the email. Of course half the things on my wishlist were not available during the sale period ('All Gold' Hakone grass, can't get enough!) but I'll try again this fall. |

| I'd vowed no more plant buys for the spring. A vow quickly forgotten when I got the 50% off email. I have absolutely no will power to resist plants on sale. However, I managed to limit myself to 8 plants. I have to make some effort to stay with my budget. |

| Well I received my 50% off order and it is an apt description; 50% of the plants were shriveled, blackened with poor root systems. I can only assume they were put in the box in that condition since the other 50% were fine. I've held off ordering from Bluestone since the change of management because of the poor ratings. However, things seemed to be improving so I thought I would take a chance. I've emailed and asked for a refund or replacement. Let's see what they do. P.S. I also hate those coir pots. |

| I've never ordered from the sale list, but am wondering if the sale plants are the same size and quality as the regular priced ones? The order I placed last winter and received a few weeks ago was by far the best I've ever received from Bluestone. The plants were absolutely perfect. Kevin |

I received my 50% off plants Tuesday and they were some of the biggest I have ever received from Bluestone. The hydrangeas were especially large for Bluestone plants. I was quite pleased to say the least. Still hate the coir pots, though. If we're supposed to bury them you'd think the tops wouldn't rise an inch above the soil level. |
