I am new to this plant. Does this go dormant?
I don't know this plant at all so I Googled it. Just be aware that many of the images are incorrect and are actually Dimorphotheca, not Anemone.
I am not sure i understand. Why cape marigold?
The purple flowers are superficially similar in arty photos. The first one on this Google search is Dimorphotheca as is the one directly below it.

No - I don't I'm afraid. I've never grown it. I just wanted to clear up the misleading image thing. My hunch would be, yes.
Thanks..Because I JUST got this from mail order (very tiny) and it seems to be going dormant....hope that is it and not dying.
