Is this bee balm?

| I direct sowed some seeds in the garden & I'm thinking this is bee balm. I can't remember what type it was - I do have the seed packet at home and can look later if that'd help. |

| no. If you are talking about Beebalm that is Monarda citriodora. |

| Those weren't the flowers on the seed package. they were single purple flowers. Maybe fistulosa? |

| Does it have a square stem? Monarda does have that angular stem. |

| That doesn't look like any Monarda species I've grown, which includes M. didyma, fistulosa, citriodora, punctata, and bradburiana. |

| Leaves don't look right, but crush a leaf and if it smells of oregano then you have M. fistulosa or didyma. |
