| Well, I don't have pics to post this year -- just when the blooms opened we had a couple days of fairly high winds and a lot of the blooms were blown apart. SIGH.... So I need to live vicariously through you guys -- post your tree peony pics! |
Follow-Up Postings:

| There is a great thread with pics from China on the peony forum. It's a shame so few visit that forum because these photos are outstanding. |
|
| I'm guessing the link below it the thread jackie_o was referring to? Nice stuff. I only have one tree peony, still living in a pot, and no blooms yet, so sorry, nothing to share! But hoping others will! Dee |
Here is a link that might be useful: thread from peony forum?

| Yea, I saw that post ---> gorgeous but not quite the same as seeing in someone's own garden. |
|
| My tree peony was planted a year ago and has leafed out with two quarter sized buds so it will be awhile before it blooms. I'm curious to see what the flowers will look like as it was a NOID that I got for $6 that late fall day. |

| This guy is pretty old - I don't know the variety - and it only looks like this for about four days, but oh my, what a glorious four days! It usually produces 80 - 100 blooms. Jan |

| By coincidence I snapped this pic just yesterday. I am sad to say it isn't mine but even so I still can admire as it is directly across the street from me. |
