What to plant in this shady spot

Here's a picture of a corner of my house:

The area is cover in drappled shade all day. In fact, I never see even weeds grow there, but the bushes seems to do OK so it can't be too bad.

What should I grow there? I was thinking of cimcimifuga, but are there better plants for that spot. I am thinking it should be tall enough that I can see it out the window.

Paul

We have a forsythia that does quite well in a shady area beside the house. It blooms later in the season than the others since it is in shade.

You could plant asiatic or oriental lilies. They tolerate a good deal of shade.
