| Does anyone know the recommended spacing for this plant in Zone 5 to achieve the following affect? Is there a spacing difference for full vs partial sun? The photos are from the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

| I planted several a scant three feet apart in full sun. By summer's end the first year, they were a hedge. |
