Let's Hear it for Amsonia 'Blue Ice'

This is my favorite plant this year so far! I've been taking little side shoots and potting them up to make more. It's been blooming for over a month now. Amsonia "Blue Ice" is awesome. The leaves are supposed to turn yellow in the fall.

I know Amsonia hubrichtii is the Perennial Plant of 2011; however, these have much nicer blooms and bloom a lot longer. The hubrichtii is grown mainly for the fall foliage. If you don't have this plant, I'd consider getting several! I think some dwarf Coreopsis would look great with these!

Blue is my all-time favorite color and those are exquisite. How tall do they get? I have both Zagreb and Moonbeam coreopsis but neither is a dwarf form. What about iberis/candytuft as a companion if they're blooming now?

These get about a foot to 16 inches tall. Sounds good to me. I will see how it looks.
