| How do you guys feel about an edging border combination of Nepeta Kit Cat and Artemisia Silver Brocade? I have a raised bed for herbs but it's on a slope so it only has 3 real sides. The fourth side just meets the ground and I wanted some kind of border to blend with the mulched path at that ground level.
I have a nepeta thing going on already in the yard so I will likely keep that idea but didn't know if I should work a second plant (artemisia? something else?) in for interest. The border is about 13 feet long and gets good sun. Thanks for your suggestions! |

| I found A. 'Silver Brocade' impossible to keep, even in my well drained soil. It just petered out. |

| Try Lamb's Ear too. |

| Good to know about the artemisia, laceyvail. Lamb's ear sounds like a good choice too. I've never had any so maybe it's time! I'm open to other suggestions too. Thanks, Caroline |

| Depending on your zone, you might consider Dusty Miller. Mine overwinters in my 7b zone and cuttings are easy to root if you find you need additional plants. The one I use looks a bit like white lace; Dusty Miller 'Silver Dust'. Mary |
