| I received these seeds from a swap and was amazed at the size of the plants that resulted - they are the largest columbines I have ever seen. I just harvested a lot of seeds and don't want to label them incorrectly.

| There is a double William Guiness. I have the single one, too, and call it Magpie, which is an alternate name. I am just not sure the plants I have fit the description, as they are quite large and the blooms don't quite match the pictures from tmseeds. Becky |

| Those are awesomely, gorgeously double! Thanks for that link--I'm going to add them to my wish list for 2011-12 winter sowing. I want to grow LOTS more columbine for my dappled shade area north side of the garage. They're blooming now along with peonies, lupine, baptisia, globe flower, Siberian iris, clematis, beardtongue, dianthus & sweet William. Isn't this the absolute BEST time of year?! |
