Blue Trumpet Vine Thunbergia laurifolia I have one in my greenhouse. It is tropical.

Thank you! My sister is looking for this plant to add to her yard. Is it hard to grow. She is in zone 9a-10a and have an irrigation drip system and will have to be grown from a container.

It is easy in my heated greenhouse. I have no experience with it outdoors. It does require evenly moist soil. Wilts dramatically and drops flowers if it doesn't get it.

I believe it is Clytostoma callistegioides, violet trumpet vine. It is pretty common up here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Care info here

Susanc, you are right. My bad. I focused on the flowers and didn't put my glasses on and look at the foliage.
