| Thanks! That's surely it. Sounds like a very easy and pretty salvia. I'm beginning to wonder how it got there, though! I was thinking maybe I planted some sort of prepackaged root there, but this doesn't seem like a plant that could grow from a root in a baggy from Lowes, which is all I would have put there . . . So I'm not sure where it came from! Thank you for your help! |

| It looks like a S. farenacea 'Victoria' . Can't be sure. There are so many varieties of them.. |

| I'd agree it's Victoria - one of my favourites. It's an annual for me and I don't usually see blooms till late June. |
