| I love this spring blooming plant. It is hard to get a good picture when it is flowering as the white is just too bright for my very basic photography skills. This particular plant is a 3 foot wide circle.(It does need a good trim).

I love the look of candytuft every year. As you say, the flowers are just so cheery and bright. They really pop against the periwinkle growing around them in one of my garden beds.

I like it too - unfortunately (and oddly....) I seem to have lost my long-established stretch of it by the shed. Hopefully it'll come back from the roots. It was not something I thought likely to succumb to this past winter!

woody - mine "migrated" itself to the bottom of the hill on which I originally planted it at the top. Since the hill is a blanket of periwinkle, the white blooms are just as stunning in either area.

I also love this bright white bloomer but have had difficulty getting one to survive. However this year we had constant snow cover and my plant survived and is blooming. Would that it would form a nice large clump like yours, rouge.

Love that plant. I don't have any, but it's super-popular here in rock borders and on curbsides. Some of the clumps look like they've been around for decades. (I prefer the annual version of Iberis for my walkway, but I couldn't find any of the seeds at stores this year. DX At least some of last year's fallen seeds came back here and there in the yard.)

Thanks 'mnwsgal'. It easily survived this past winter. Due to the garden's location both plants were under almost 4 feet of protective snow from about January 1 till March 1! (Kind of like being in a comfy cosy igloo ;)) I will shear them back significantly once flowering is done.

I want to try IIberis Absolutely Amethyst. Any experience out there?
