I have five of these growing up through my lawn. All of which, as you can see in the picture, have been mowed down by my DH. Does anyone know what it would be if I left it alone? Dig it out and plant it? Or dig it out and toss it? Thanks everyone!

A little difficult to tell since it is mowed down, but it looks like an emerging hosta to me. If it is, you'll want to dig it out and plant it. It does seem strange that it would be growing in the lawn unless the lawn has spread into what was formerly a bed or border.

There are many native plants with that growth pattern, so it could very well be something wild. Although it's not false hellebore, that is one of the plants it reminds me of. I'm having a problem telling the size of the stalks, and of course the leaves are impossible to tell when they get chopped down. Could you dig one up and plant it someplace else until it becomes mature and you can tell what it is? Maybe try posting this on the native plant forum. OTOH, perhaps you live someplace where a native plant is nearly impossible to come by? We have a plant that appears in our lawn occasionally, and of course it always gets mowed before it is large enough to ID. I think I've found one this year that is out of the mower's path that will be ready to ID in a day or 2.
Here is a link that might be useful: same type of growth?

You can find your zone here. If you include it in your profile info., it will show up next to your name automatically when you say something on these forums. When your mowed plants grow some new leaves, you could take a new picture and ask on the name that plant forum. I suspect pokeweed. Love your other pics, hen&chicks garden!
