I purchased my home 4 years ago and started my first bed, and kept going and going. It's been a learning experience and very rewarding. I have done it all myself with the the exception of one small area of sod removal. I just couldn't pull anymore up and paid the neighbour boy to finish it.

I've had hills slopes roots and rocky areas all to tackle lol. Like I said...a learning experience.

The pics are all from my front yard (lining the driveway) as it is most mature. Some are from last year and others this spring.

There are two way to post pictures - one allows you to select pics from your own computer, by clicking on the Choose File button. It looks like it only allows you select one, I'm not sure.

The other way allows you to post as many as you like but it requires you putting the images on a 3rd party site like photobucket. Then you just select the HTML tags and plonk them right into your message.

To post more photos (which would be lovely) you can just add a reply (or several) to this thread and add one photo to each response. You may need to change the title so GW will accept repeated responses.

I have downloaded the photobucket app (it took forever loading pics) and now have to figure out how to use it lol. I will post pics later as I want to get out and get some things done before it gets too hot. Thanks again!

The purple plant is an aster and the pink is a fairy rose.

Weeds? What are those? Lol jk

Mulching keeps the weeds down and when I seen one I get it when it's little.

Grass is my enemy, always trying to creep in grrrr!
