I notice on my Invincibelle hydrangea a worm within "fused leaves" i.e. leaves at the tips appear to be stuck together. If you gently pry them apart, you will find the larvae (green worm) eating the tip of the branch. Yuck.

Have you experienced this pest in any of your hdrangea arborescens?
Treatment(s) besides squashing?
