Ahh.... like PM2, I noticed this on one of my hydrangeas as I passed by it, but didn't have a chance to investigate - although, truth be told, I most likely would have been too scared to actually OPEN the leaves, lol. I would have probably just cut off the set of leaves and discarded. The anticipation of what I would find inside would have kept me from opening the leaves!

I have them on my Annabelle and had them last year as well. It is also effecting some of my clematis. My clems I just peel apart and squish. On Annabelle I ended up taking the clippers to the leaves and dropping them in soapy water.

nhbabs, did your Annabelle still bloom...bloom late?
