JB Patrol Has Started

Last night, just before I went in for the night I checked my hollyhock. And yikes, a Japanese beetle was on it. I drowned all three of the evil critters I found and, now, for the next month, I've going into beetle death mode.

Each morning, first thing I do is head out to the garden and drown any I find. Same routine in the early evening and last thing before I pack up for the night. I was so hoping the winter had disrupted them for this season.

Haha. Definitely different strokes.

I work from home in the morning so I am logged on by 7:30 am (I'm in technology). Before I do that, I like to take a quick garden stroll, get my breakfast, take my morning meds (ah old age, such a blast) and murder a few bugs. I find early morning violence is quite cathartic.

Just remember: Those JB you're killing have mothers and fathers and maybe children of their own. (sniff)

Kevin, I grew up in NYC. We scoff at sentiment.

Very entertaining! I too have started going out drowning those sons of guns and will continue to do so!
