Echinacea 'Pink Poodle' - how does your plant look this year?

My PP starts to bloom.

The first flower looks SINGLE so far.
I found an last year thread about this variety. Echinaceamaniac said that only 25% of them look like Terra Nova's pictures. Well, mine definitely did. I bought a plug from Green Thumbs Galore in 2008. The plant bloomed with beautiful fully double flowers last year.

This year, it is a strong plant.
A quote from Gardengal post:

If you read the patent application for this plant it clearly states that it "has not been evaluated under all possible environmental conditions. The phenotype may vary with variations in environment without a change in the genotype of the plant".

My environmental conditions are the same as last year. Yet, the plant seems to change its phenotype.
Can it revert to Echinacea purpurea, its parent???

What is your experience with this cultivar?

Mine are up but still leafing out, still on the small side but coming along.
