| I know I wanted something not too tall for around the bird bath but I can't figure out what I bought.
Here it is upclose 
and here is the whole plant 
and I just picked this one up at a big box store. Is it Pow Wow Wildberry echinacea? It's rather short which I like, but some things sold as short varieties end up growing tall the next year.

| Pics #1&2 look like the rapacious Campanula Rapunculoids. If it is, and you let it be for a short while yet, it should produce a tall raceme of lavender blue bells... although some find them pretty enough, you'll want to pull it up before the flowers come even remotely close to maturing and scattering hundeds of seeds. If I'm right, this will wreck havoc in your garden and you'll be pulling them (like I am) for years to come. |

| Your short echinacea could be a variety called 'Kim's Knee High', and therefore will always remain short. Karen |
