I have a few more photos of plants we need help identifying. Thanks again to all who helped yesterday. Again it is possible some may be weeds. The yard has not been cared for in a long time.

#1 pull it all out & pot up for easy care pots in part shade to tuck in around other plants, but don't let the trailers root...

#2 'Beacon Silver' Lamium (one of my favorite slug & rabbit resistant plants that grows in shady conditions)

Easy to divide in early spring or really anytime you can give it good soil & moisture. Received a big overgrown unpruned hunk of it last November. I clipped it back, divided the roots & planted the cuttings all in nursery bed. Now I've planted out lots of divisions this spring & there are still more in the nursery bed taking off nicely.

For me it looks tatty after about 3 weeks of blooming mid-summer & if I cut it back I get nicer looking foliage that lasts rest of the season as long as soil stays moist. If soil dries out it gets darker looking patches that I've read is a type of virus & nothing we can do about it. Everything else looks good around it, so I don't worry though I prefer my other lamiums for foliage I love the magenta blooms on 'Beacon S.'

Another with the same bloom color is 'Red Nancy' I think with nearly all white leaves. I have that as an accent in XL pots of perennials in part shade.

I agree with the first three - creeping Charlie, lamium, and heuchera; don't know the fourth. Can you post a pic of the foliage of #3?

Make sure you don't inadvertantly take any roots of no. 1 with you if you dig up anything else. Creeping charlie has completely infested my lawn and I am constantly fighting to keep it out of my beds. It is at the point where I am seriously considering kiling my entire lawn and starting over.

Ditto what a2zmom said about the creeping charlie. I also have a lawn infested with it. I would remove it entirely if you can.

RE: Plant ID Again!

You have all been very helpful! I spent hours on the internet trying to identify these and you are much quicker! I think we will leave the creeping charlie where it is. And try to avoid any roots too. Thanks again.

The Cerastium is also be a nightmare to get rid of if you should want to.
