| There was talk of Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit on this forum and now there is silence. It's available somewhere as seed and I'd be curious whether the regular seed houses carry it. I ordered Echinacea Pow Wow as plants and then it showed up locally at 10 dollars a liter pot. So it was unnecessary expense that I would like to get ahead of.
As a side note Rudbeckia Tiger Eye is an annual but it's a shorter version of Indian Summer. Gorgeous. It's a hybrid so the question is - are the seeds viable? |

| I ordered seeds of the PowWow variety in the fall for last spring planting. The Cheyenne Spirit seeds aren't available yet. I think they will be this Fall. I can't wait to get a couple of packs of those seeds! If you start them indoors in January, they will bloom the first year. I'm growing Thompson Morgan's Magic Box this year. I'll see blooms next Spring. Can't wait. |

| I thought "cool plants guy" said he had some seeds. Seeing as how I'm in Canada as well, I might have to go and hold him up. |

| Yes, I have some, and they have germinated. The seed is only available to growers to try at this time. We will pot them up shortly. They should flower later this summer. |

| Cheyenne Spirit will (hopefully) be available this Fall. It may be receiving an award, and the breeder needs to have a large quantity of seed in the bag before it can be released. The Rudbeckia Tiger Eye is an F1 Hybrid, so in theory, will NOT produce progeny exactly like the parent plant that weed is collected from. |

| Has anyone had success growing actual plants from these seeds? |
