| Bought this recently, trying to replace my Veronica Sunny Border Blue, which has died. But I looked it up, and many cultivars are called veronica spicata; just with different variety names. Height on the tag says 15", but to me the leaf size and shape looks like it will be a much taller plant. Leaves are not narrow like most veronicas, but wider and shorter. I have a couple of dwarf kinds too, none of which have leaves like this one.
Could this be a wild or species veronica? I bought it at an out of state nursery, so focused on just getting a veronica that I didn't see what part of the nursery it came from. They do carry native plants. |
