Leggy perennial geranium

I have three different colors of geraniums that I bought last fall. They are all up and blooming and are all very leggy. Is there any way to get them more bushy? Can I just try trimming them all back? If this is how they are going to look, they will get pulled out!

I have a short mound-forming one with bright magenta flowers which I just love. I just assumed all would behave that way.

um, yours are probably the scrambling type and there is not really any way to keep them neat and hummocky. You could try to support them with pea sticks (prunings from woody shrubs) or even encourage them to grow up and between other plants but no, cutting them back will result in losing flowers since they are formed on the continually extending stems.
